ELKHART - Thomas M. “Tom” Fodrocy Jr., 73, of Elkhart, passed away peacefully at Elkhart General Hospital of natural causes at 3:23 p.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2019. He was born, in South Bend, March 7, 1945, to the late Thomas and Ethel (Karacson) Fodrocy Sr. and is survived by his significant other, Linda Francesconi. Also surviving are his son, Derek “Rick” (Michele) Fodrocy and grandsons Cody and Taylor Fodrocy, as well as his sister, Patricia “Pat” Stauffer. Visitation will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Jan 27, at Billings Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Elkhart, with the Rosary to be recited at 4 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 1108 S. Main St., Elkhart, at 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 28. Visitation will be one hour prior at the funeral home, then a procession will leave for the church at 10:45 a.m. The Rev. Patrick Hake will officiate along with the Rev. Glenn Kohrman as co-officiant. Burial with military honors will follow at a later date at the Veteran’s Section at Prairie Street Cemetery of Elkhart.
