South Bend - Joan Kaczynski, 92, passed away November 25, 2021 in Memorial Hospital. Joan was born August 24, 1929 in South Bend to the late Ted and Theresa (Zielinski) Milewski. On May 29, 1954 Joan married Ervin Kaczynski, he preceded her in death on January 12th, 2018. Joan was also preceded in death by a brother, Joseph Milewski and his wife, Dolores. Left to cherish the memory of Joan are her children, Lisa (Bob) Wilcox, Philip (Sharol) Kaczynski, Kris (Jennifer) Kaczynski, David (Michele) Kaczynski; sister, Marcia (Harry) Singleton; grandchildren, Lea, Mitch (Mallory), Caitlin, Theresa (Caleb), Stephany (Arron), Samantha, Nicole, Laura, Mary, Christian, Katie (Patrick), Kristin (Jason), John; great-grandchildren, Harley, Wade, Elijah, Annie, Charlotte, Alice, Henry, Vivienne; many nieces & nephews; and sister-in-law, Marlene (Eugene) Kaczynski. Joan was a long-time parishioner of St. Casimir Catholic Church, where she was a member of the Senior’s Club, and the Altar & Rosary Society. She also was a graduate of South Bend Catholic HIgh School. Joan enjoyed her flower garden, throwing parties and cooking for everyone. She was great bargain shopper, and a very fashionable dresser. Most of all of she loved spending time with her family. Visitation for Joan will be 10:00 am to 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd. A Funeral Service will take place at 2:00pm at the Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made Heart to Heart Hospice, 620 W.
