SOUTH BEND - William S. Jerzak, 87, of Poland Street, died at 11 a.m. Sunday in Meridian Nursing Center-Cardinal Mr. Jerzak retired from Scotmar Lumber Co. He was born Nov. 2, 1903, in South Bend, and was a lifelong area resident In 1947,in South Bend, he married Severina "Sarah" Strozewsu, who survives. Also surviving are a sister, Mary Hans of South Bend. He was a veteran of the Navy. Services will be at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday in St. Casimir's Catholic Church.
Entombment will be at Resurrection Gardens Mausoleum of St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may can from 2 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and after 8 am until services on Wednesday. in St. Joseph Funeral Home, where a parish rosary will be said at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday.
