MISHAWAKA - Nancy J. DeWulf, 76, of Naples, Florida, and formerly of Mishawaka, passed away Saturday, April 13, 2013. Nancy is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard DeWulf; a daughter, Debra (Sammy) Smith of Murrayville, Georgia; a son, Rich (Linda) DeWulf of Buchanan, Michigan; five grandchildren, Billy (Karen) Chandler, Melissa (Darryle) Holcomb, Brian (Melanie) Chandler, Joshua (Jennifer) DeWulf and Cliff Smith; five great-grandchildren, Jason Chandler, Caden and Christian DeWulf, and Carli and Chandler Holcomb; a sister, Marie Vernasco; and several nieces and nephews. Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, L.D. and Henrietta Williams, and her brother, Charles Willams. Due to her husband Richard's work with Cities Service Oil Company, they moved frequently. Together they traveled the world by plane and ship as well as the United States by car. In 1989, Nancy and Richard retired to their paradise in Naples, Florida. She loved working in her garden of flowers and, most of all, having her family and friends visit. Nancy was a member of St. William Catholic Church in Naples. Nancy will be remembered for providing a lifetime of love, commitment and happiness to her family and all who knew her. She will be dearly missed. A memorial service will be held Saturday, MAY 11, at 11 am in Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, 503 W. 3rd Street, Mishawaka, with Rev. Barry England officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka.
