SOUTH BEND - Dorothy J. Mirocha, 85, of South Bend, passed away on Monday April 10, 2017 at Memorial Hospital, South Bend, with her son and his fiancee' (Debra Minnich) by her side. She was born on April 20, 1931, in South Bend, to the late Ferdinand “Fred” and Harriet (Bogacki) Gorczyca. On April 26, 1952, in St. Casimir Catholic Church, as Dorothy J. Gorczyca, she married Daniel J. Mirocha, the love of her life who preceded her in death on March 27, 2004. She was also preceded in death by a grandson, Dustin Wlodarski. Dorothy is survived by her son, Keith A. Mirocha of Jeffersonville, IN; her daughter, Debra J.(Gary) Wlodarski of South Bend; a sister, Jeanette Rybicki of South Bend; and two nieces, Sandra Rybicki of North Carolina and Michelle Rybicki of South Bend. Mrs. Mirocha was a parishioner of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday, April 17, 2017, at St. John the Baptist Church, where friends may visit for one hour prior to the Mass. Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John the Baptist Church, 3526 St. Johns Way, South Bend, IN 46628.
