Walter (Copey) Luczkowski, 67, of 209 N. Sadie St., died at 7 p.m. Friday in St. Joseph's Hospital after an illness of 10 days.

He retired from the Singer Mfg. Co. in 1955 after working there 36 years. He was also employed by the University of Notre Dame. Born Nov. 25, 1900, in South Bend, he lived here all of his life.

On May 30, 1922, he married Rose Hartwick. She survives. Also surviving are two sons, Edwin W. and Walter C., both of South Bend; a daughter, Mrs. Lorraine Bucholtz; seven grandchildren; a brother, Vincent Luczkowski and a sister, Mrs. Clara Mirocha, both of South Bend.

Friends may call after 7 p.m. Sunday in the Kaniewski and Sons Funeral Home.
Services will be at 9 a.m. Tuesday in St. Stanislaus Catholic Church, with Rev. Sigmund A. Jankowski, C.S.C. pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph
Cemetery.
