John S. Krajewski, 89, of Middlebury, died at 1:30 a.m. on Friday, June 3, at his home. He had been in declining health for four years.. He was born on Oct. 30, 1921, in Buffalo, N.Y., to John and Agnes (Drews) Krajewski. On Dec. 1, 1945, in Buffalo, N.Y., he married Helen Domagala. She survives.. Survivors in addition to his wife are a daughter, Susan (James) Bontrager of Middlebury; nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren; and two brothers, Richard Krajewski and Gerald (Geraldine) Krajewski, both of Buffalo, N.Y.. He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandchild, Josiah Bontrager; three brothers, Henry, Robert and Edwin Krajewski; and two sisters, Elenore Balser and Florence Krajewski.. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Bristol. He served in the Military in World War II and one year in Vietnam.. He worked for Westinghouse for five years before serving 30 years in the New York State National Guard at Niagara Falls Air Force Base. He was a member of the V.F.W. and Knights of Columbus and enjoyed bowling and ping pong.. Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. on Monday June 6, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home with a prayer service at 7 p.m.. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, June 7, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Bristol. Services will be conducted by Father Robert Van Kempen.. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery, Bristol, with military graveside services conducted by the Goshen VFW.. Online condolences may be sent at millerstewartfuneralhome.com.
