I am the great granddaughter of Francis Zelasko Roberts and have pertinent information to correct your tree. Francis is buried next to Andrew and Constancia Czapnik Zelasko in Saint Joseph Cemetery,( see: find a grave.com ) South Bend IN. Various spellings of Czapnik: Czopik,Czapik,Chopec,Capnika,Czapiczka,Capnik. I have not found further immigration or naturalization info yet, just that Andrew immigrated in 1872 and Constance in 1864. It is possible that Andrew had a brother Michael and Constance a sister Maria-I have found that a Maria Czopik married a Michael Zelasko on the same day and same church as Andrew married Constance. They were married In Du Bois, Washington County, Illinois on 19 Jan 1879 in Saint Charles Borromeo church. I have not confirmed the parents of either Andrew or Constance definitively. I have the following children: Joseph:born 6 Sep I880 in Du Bois, (have not found mention of him elsewhere,perhaps he died before 1900 census) Peter born 8 Oct 1883 in Du Bois died 23 Jan 1910 in Saint Joseph Cemetery South Bend IN. Staza(Anastazy)born 15 Apr 1885 in either Du Bois or Radom(the info comes from St. Michaels church which was in Radom)died Feb 26 1951, married Sadie Wroblewski 18 Jan 1910. Francis born 30 Sep 1886 in either Du Bois or Radom, Died 12 Aug 1936 married Clifford Roberts 24 Feb 1906 in Bartholomew County Indiana. Alexander born 20 Apr 1888 in Dubois (info from Saint Charles Borromeo) died 6 Jan 1974 in Saint Joseph Cemetery South Bend IN,married Mary Goverinski 15 Sep 1914. Jacob born 11 Jun 1893 in Indiana died 22 Jan 1964 in Saint Joseph Cemetery, (possibly married Wladyskawa Wroblewski/Sophia Seiman(Surman)-haven't confirmed this yet, will be looking for him in St.Joseph cemetery soon-he is in the 1940 census married to Lottie,but his age seems to be a few years off, the birthday I have comes from a holy card distributed at his funeral) Anthony (Tony) born 29 Oct 1897 in Indiana, died 26 Mar 1982 in St Joseph Cemetery,married Sophia Koperski 21 Mar 1927 and Anna Olins 26 Sep 1952( Anna is in Highland Cemetery South Bend IN). Cecelia (Zella) born 26 Apr 1900 in Indiana(NOT IN NEW YORK! as some roots web trees have her erroneously listed) died 24 May 1980 in St.Joseph Cemetery. married Stanley Golichowski 1 Feb 1921. Joseph Casper (Joe) born 1903 in Indiana died 1983 in Carolina Memorial Park, Charleston South Carolina,married Laura Jean Hartung 10 Jul 1926 and were longtime residents of John's Island South Carolina. My grandfather also made mention of an uncle Julius, but I have not confirmed this, there is also a Carl buried in St. Joseph Cemetery born and died in 1917, but I have not confirmed he belongs to Andrew and Constance. I hope to complete my tree soon and put it on Ancestry.com/roots web. Most of my info comes from the south bend area genealogical society website/Saint Joseph County Public Library databases/ a former database from Saint Charles Borromeo Church and Saint Michaels Church (no longer on the Polish Genealogical Society of America website, but I have info of the owner) and a box of funeral holy cards from my grandfather. The children I have for Staza: According to the recently released 1940 census: Ernest born abt. 1913, Rosie born abt. 1914, Edward born abt. 1917, Irene born abt. 1920, Bernice born abt. 1921, Frances born abt. 1923, Stazy Jr, born abt. 1926, Albert born abt. 1930, Louis born abt. 1932, Donald born abt. 1935.
