Ronald Lee Thompson, 76, Bremen, passed away at 1:55 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2016, in Signature Health Car, Bremen. Ronald was born Jan. 22, 1940, the son of the late John and Ruth E. (White) Thompson. Ron was affectionately known as “Santa Claus” by many and enjoyed being Santa for family and friends. He was a member of the Brethren in Christ Church, Nappanee, Nappanee Conservation Club and the NRA. He is survived by his daughter, Connie (David) Gill, Bremen; three grandchildren: Chris (Angie) Cleveland, Elkhart, Nathan Cleveland, Nappanee, and Tara (Jeremy) Cleveland-Little, Syracuse; six great-grandchildren; two sisters: Kay (Al) Reniger, Hudson, Fla., and Carol Clingenpeel, South Bend; and several nieces and nephews. A time of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 11, in Brethren in Christ Church, Nappanee. Memorial contributions may be made to Brethren in Christ Church or Southern Care Hospice. Mishler Funeral Home, Bremen, is in charge of arrangements
