MISHAWAKA - George Frank Vaerewyck, 66, of West 9th Street, Mishawaka, Indiana, passed away at Hospice House, South Bend, Indiana on Wednesday, March 22, 2017. He was born in South Bend, Indiana on November 14, 1950 to Rene and Josee Vaerewyck, who both preceded him in death. On November 9th, 1978, in St. Joseph County, he married the former Katie Kasevic. She survives with two sons, Christopher and Scott Vaerewyck along with two grandchildren, Christopher and Alex Vaerewyck. Two brothers, Michael and Wilfred Vaerewyck and a sister, Agnes Rosebrook. George was a veteran of the United States Air force. In honoring George's wishes, cremation will take place. No funeral services are scheduled. Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 North Main Street, Mishawaka, Indiana is assisting with the arrangements.
