NORTH LIBERTY, IN - Ruth Martha (Swanson) Boroczk died peacefully on February 21, 2021 of natural causes at the age of 98. Born in Chicago, Illinois on April 4, 1922, she was one of six children born to Wilamina and Albert Swanson. She married Emery Joseph Boroczk on Dec. 5, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. They were married for 49 years; he preceded her in death in 1991. They had three children who survive, Judith Ann Hickman (Robert) of Fishers, Indiana, Dennis Michael Boroczk (Teresa) of Georgetown, Texas, and Cynthia Louise Schrader of New Albay, Indiana. She is survived by eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Ruth lived in North Liberty, Indiana in her own home until she was 92 years old. For the last six years she resided in Indianapolis, Indiana close to family. There will be a celebration of life where her remains will be united with her husband's remains at Highland Cemetery, South Bend, Indiana at a date to be announced.
