WAKARUSA - WAKARUSA- Wanda Wheeler, 88, passed away June 18, 2017 at Millers Merry Manor. She was born November 23, 1928 in Northbridge, Massachusetts to the late Paul & Agatha (Irznadel) Kurtyka. On February 3, 1970 in Hartford, Connecticut she married Ross Wheeler; he preceded her in death. Surviving is 1 sister Eleanor Kopteros and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. Wanda had a wonderful sense of humor and loved people. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing many things in her life including crossword puzzles, polka dancing, reading her bible and fishing. She was also a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness. A celebration of life service will be held July 1, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witness, 2431 Filbert Rd, Mishawaka, IN 46545. Presiding will be Paul Troxel.
