Betty L. Laskowski, 92 residing in Fort Wayne, IN, passed away at 9:02 am Sunday, January 10, 2016 in Hospice House of Fort Wayne. She was born July 3, 1923 in LaGrange, IN to the late Edward and Helen (Sowers) DeBlase. Betty was married to Irvin Laskowski, who preceded her in death in 1988. She is survived by daughters, Linda (Bill) Walsh of Fort Wayne, Kathryn Nelson of Chicago, IL and Donna (Peter) Charette of Loudenville, NY; son, Michael (Carole) Laskowski of Streamwood, IL; eight grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. Betty lived in the South Bend area her entire lifetime until recently, when she moved to Fort Wayne to live near her daughter, Linda Walsh. She was a member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:30 am Wednesday, January 13, 2016 in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Road, Granger. Graveside services and burial will follow in Highland Cemetery, South Bend. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to mass Wednesday in the church. Palmer Funeral Home - Hickey Chapel is assisting the family with arrangements.
