Jan. 15, 1958 - Jan. 28, 2013 SOUTH BEND - James M. Kruszynski Jr., 55, of South Bend, passed away Monday, January 28, 2013, at Memorial Hospital in South Bend. Jim was born on January 15, 1958, in South Bend, IN, to James Kruszynski and Sharon (Bowering) Roberson; both parents survive Jim. On August 30, 1985, Jim married Patricia (Paulk) Leonhard in South Bend. Jim and Patricia shared 27 years of selfless love and commitment to each other. Jim is survived by his loving wife Patricia and their five children, Jason (Joni) Leonhard of Elkhart, IN, Matthew (Lynne) Leonhard and Melanie Hein, both of South Bend, Michael (Blanca) Leonhard of Granger, IN, and Jessica Kruszynski. Jim was a loving and caring grandfather to 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. Numerous sisters also survive Jim. Jim was a loving son, father, grandfather and friend to many, who will be greatly missed by those who knew him. Jim by trade was a Cement Mason. He was a member of the Plasterers and Cement Masons Union Local #692 for 16 years. He was a cement finisher for over 40 years, starting when he was 14 years old. Jim enjoyed fishing, bird watching, and going to the Blue Chip Casino with his wife Patricia. The family will receive friends from 10:00 am until 12 noon, with the service at noon on Thursday, January 31, 2013, at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, 3910 N. Main St., Mishawaka. Burial will follow the service at Fairview Cemetery in Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to the Riley Hospital for Children, 850 W. Michigan St., Indianapolis, IN 46202.
