BUCHANAN - Helen E. Paskiet, age 94, of Buchanan died Thursday May 29th at the Buchanan Meadows. Helen was born July 5, 1919 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Stephen & Elizabeth Teichman. On December 31, 1938 in South Bend she married John Paskiet who preceded her in death on November 11, 2006. Also preceding her in death was a son, Larry Paskiet. She is survived by one daughter, Geri Hodges of Kerrville, Texas, Three sons, Richard (Holly) Pasket and Douglas Paskiet, both of Clinton, Ohio, and Dennis Paskiet of Buchanan. Other survivors include eleven grandchildren and thirteen great grand Children. Helen retired from Electro Voice in Buchanan where she had worked for thirty three years. She enjoyed gardening as well as baking and decorating cakes. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday, June 1st at Swem Chapel in Buchanan where a service celebrating her life will be Monday June 2nd at 10:30 a.m. Pastor Tom Fox is officiating. Burial will take place at Oak Ridge Cemetery Buchanan. Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice At Home, Inc. 1234 Napier Ave. Saint Joseph, Michigan 49085.
