INDEX

[N2548] Palac Lubostron , a lovely manor built for Count Fryderyk Skorzewski near the village of Pilatowo, which was picturesquely set among the meadows spreading along the river Notec, he was so captivated by the charm of its scenery that he decided to build a residence worthy of his family in this "pleasant retreat" ("lube ustronie" - hence the name Lubostron). That happened between 1795 and 1800. Count Skorzewski owned the nearby village of Sobieuchy, the home of my GGUncle Joseph Piechorowski
