Christine Josephine Linn, 81, of Dowagiac, died peacefully Friday, April 21, 2023, in the comfort of her family’s presence. Her life began August 31, 1941, in LaPorte, Indiana, born to Ted and Phyllis Klodzinski. She married Walter D. Linn September 28, 1996 in Buchanan, Michigan. Christine had a passion for animals having many over the years. If it was an animal, she loved it. She was a crafty person and enjoyed doing numerous crafts. She loved Disney World and visited several times. She never complained and never had anything negative to say about anything or anyone. Christine was a beautiful, compassionate, loving, and positive person. She enjoyed mystery movies and shows. She was a member of Holy Maternity Catholic Church. Christine will be greatly missed by family and friends. She is survived by her husband of twenty-six years, Walter Linn of Dowagiac; daughters, Tamara Mahler of Dowagiac, Christine (Robert) Fanaro of Granger, Indiana; son, Daniel (Kerianne) Linn of Niles; and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents and grandson, Gabriel. The family will observe a private remembrance. The family prefers contributions in memory of Christine be made to the American Cancer Society, Post Office Box 6704, Hagerstown, Maryland 21741.
