[N14441] GRANGER -- LaVerne J. Foos, 57, died at 12:25 a.m. Monday (Jan. 30, 2006) at Memorial Hospital of South Bend. She was born Aug. 7, 1948, in LaPorte to Emmett and Marceil (Bailey) Hansen. She married Harold Foos on July 6, 1974, in South Bend. He survives, along with a sister, Kathleen (Thomas) Bogucki of Elkhart. She was preceded in death by a sister, Patricia Herrick. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Chapel Hill Funeral Home, 10776 McKinley Highway, Osceola, where funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, Osceola. Mrs. Foos was a 1967 graduate of John Adams High School and was a member of American Legion Post 308 Ladies Auxiliary. Memorial donations may be given to Saint Bernard Rescue.
