Wakarusa - Robert "Bob" L. Schweisberger, age 81 of Wakarusa, IN, passed from this life Sunday, October 31, 2021 at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. He was born September 8, 1940 in Bremen to Kenneth and Elsie (Riggs) Schweisberger. Mr. Schweisberger lived his lifetime in Madison Township on Osborne Road. He was a 1958 graduate of Madison High School and received his Bachelor's degree from Manchester College in 1962. On September 30, 1967, he married Neal Richardson in Newport, KY. She survives along, with their children, Christine (Ryan) Rust of Plymouth, IN, Lisa Schweisberger of Minooka, IL, and Jeffrey (Betsy) Schweisberger of Mishawaka, IN; ten grandchildren; one sister, RuthAnn (Kenny) McCormack, Lorida, FL. Mr. Schweisberger retired in 2006 from Patrick Industries after 35+ years of service. He was a longtime videographer and loved filming football games for Penn High School. He enjoyed woodworking and loved spending time with his children and grandchildren and supporting all of their activities. Family and friends may call from 11-1 Wednesday, November 3, 2021 at Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa. Funeral services will begin at 1:00. Pastor Justin Chambers of New Song Community Church in Plymouth will officiate and burial will follow services in Ferrisville Cemetery, Mishawaka, IN. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association. Arrangements are with Thompson-Lengacher & Yoder Funeral Home, Wakarusa, IN.
