[N6558] CORRECTION >>> THANK YOU
==========
Hi Mr. Piechorowski,

I would like to correct you - Szlanfucht's family is descent from Lithuania. Ancestors of Szlanfucht's family arrived to Lithuania from Ost Prussia ( Germany): Johann Fredrich Sclemvogt with her wife Wilhelmina arrived from Gumbinnen to Miroslavas ( Lithuania). Their son Ludwig Samuel Slemfogt, born 1843. He married Jozefa Nowicka 1868.01.26 ( daughter of Andzeja and Elzbiety from Michalowskich, now living Giejsztory Wielke). Surname Szlanfucht is made of polish, but real surname in church documents is Slemfogt, Schlemvogt, Schlenvogt.
You wrote a distant relation by marriage. It's means that you marriage female from Szlanfucht's family? Do you have Szlanfucht's family tree?
I try to explore old church books and to find my ancestors and relaters. I found records with Ludwig Samuel Slemfogt, born 1843 ( named as Louis Ludwig Szlanfucht on Rootsweb), his marriage, birth of his sons and daughter, son's death.

Regards Vygintas
