MISHAWAKA - Janice C. Putz, 80, passed away on Saturday, July 23, 2016 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. Janice was born on July 17, 1936 in Mishawaka as the daughter of Raymond and Donnabelle (Bendit) Lannoo. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Thomas Lannoo. On November 9, 1956 in South Bend, as the former Janice Lannoo, she married Victor Putz. He survives along with their children, Victoria (Jim Books) Putz of North Falmouth, MA, Laureen (Kevin) Johnson of South Bend and Daniel (Kristin) Putz of Sagamore Hill, OH; four grandchildren, Andrew Schloemer, Cara Ortiz, Gwendolyn Putz and Natalie Putz; one great-granddaughter, Callan Ortiz and a brother, Michael (Carolyn) Lannoo of Mishawaka. Janice was a 1954 Mishawaka High School Graduate. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed doing needlepoint, was a wonderful seamstress and loved her dogs. Visitation will be on Wednesday, July 27 from 3 to 7 p.m. in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be on Thursday, July 28 at 1 p.m. in the funeral home with Rev. Kevin Bauman officiating. Burial will follow in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. Memorial contributions may be made to honor Janice to the charity of the donor's choice .
