MISHAWAKA - Clara P. Luczkowski, 97, passed away Wednesday, February 22, 2017 in St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.Clara was born August 25, 1919 in South Bend, to the late John and Mary (Frydrych) Wachowiak. Clara was preceded in death by husbands, Casimer Klodzinski and Edwin Luczkowski; and brothers & sisters, Frank, Louie, Stanley, Tony, Harry, Al, Floyd, Joseph, Blanche, Irene, Alice and Lucille. Survivors of Clara include her children, Charlotte Luczkowski of Mishawaka, Marion (Rosita) Klodzinski; sister, Sylvia Butchko; grandchildren, Melissa (Sam) Patterson, Kevin (Hanah Tepe) Klodzinski; great-grandchildren, Makayla and Jaxton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Clara worked at Inwood's for 20+ years. She was a parishioner of St. Anthony Catholic Church. She was a member of the Golden Cluster, Polish Singers, and St. Anthony's Choir. She enjoyed bowling and making puzzles. Clara was a big Notre Dame Women's Basketball fan. She was a very hard worker and gave her children good work ethics. Clara had a beautiful smile that melted everyone's heart. The family would like to thank the nurses and staff at St. Joseph Hospital Regional Medical Center and Center for Hospice for the great care they gave mom. Thank you to her several care-givers, Hanna, Cathy Black, Jasmine and others from Senior One Care. Visitation for Clara will be held 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Monday, February 27, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME; 824 S. Mayflower Rd. where a Rosary will be prayed. A Funeral Ceremony will take place at 10:00 am, Tuesday, February 28, 2017 in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial Contributions may be made to the Humane Society, 2506 Grape Road, Mishawaka, Indiana 46545 and Diabetes Foundation, 55 E.
