SOUTH BEND - Alice Ellen Luczkowski, 96, entered into Eternal Rest on Friday, Feb. 10, 2012, in Henderson, NV. She was born Aug. 17, 1915, in South Bend, IN, where she had lived until 2001 when she moved to Henderson, NV, to live with son, Robert, and his wife, Linda. Alice was a member of St. Stanislaus Catholic Church and the P.N.A. and V.F.W in South Bend. She retired from The University of Notre Dame Cafeteria and Monarch Laundry. Alice married John W. Mathewson in 1939. He passed away in 1968. She married Andrew Luczkowski in 1978, who died in 1987. Alice is survived by 3 sons, Robert of Henderson, NV, Richard of Fleming Island, FL, & Paul of Ocala, FL; sister, Lucy Acrey of Mishawaka, IN; 10 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Arrangements are under the care of Sunrise Cremation and Burial in Henderson, NV.
