Paul Borkowski, aged 76, of 1833 East Donald street, died at 2:50 p.m. Wednesday in his home. Born in Poland June 24, 1873, he came to South Bend from that country 50 years ago. He Retired nine years ago as an employe of the Oliver corporation. Surviving are a son, Modest, and two grandchildren, all of South Bend. Friends may call after 5 p.m. today in the St. Joseph funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Saturday in St. Hedwige’s Catholic church. Rev. Boleslaus J. Sztutzko, C.S.C., pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in St. Joseph Polish cemetery. Mr. Borkowski was a member of the Star of Victory society, No. 83, Polish National Alliance.
