Born 6 Jul 1895; died 25 Jun 1961 age 65 of 2505 Monroe at 6:05 p.m at Memorial Hospital after a short illness. IND Cpl, Co. "H", Infantry, Worked as an inspector in the Weights and Mesaures dept for the city of South Bend and was an active politician serving as Portage Twp assesor etc. Services at St Adalberts Catholic Church; burial at St Joseph Cemetery. Surviving are his wife Helen , a daughter Mrs Lorraine Karkiewicz, 4 grandchildren and a sister Mrs Alice Milosierna & a brtoher Walter Gresge of Fla.
