PUNTA GORDA, FL - Delores Farkas, 80, of Punta Gorda passed away June 24, 2018. She was the daughter of Walter and Theresa Kopala, born January 8, 1938 in Chicago, IL. Delores was a dispatcher for Standard Oil in Granger, IN. After retirement she and her husband started building homes. She moved to this area in 1994 from Vandelia, MI. She enjoyed traveling with the RV Club and Cruise Club to many places. She was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Delores will be greatly missed by her daughters, Diana Ringer and Deborah (Kyle) Williams; sister, Carol; grandchildren, Derek, Joshua, Timothy, Ronda, and Shellie; and great-grandchildren, Kayla, Kaylee, Ava, Charli, Georganna and Sophia. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald J. Farkas. The family will receive friends 2:00-4:00pm and 6:00-8:00pm Thursday, June 28, 2018 at Larry Taylor Funeral and Cremation with a service at 11:00am Friday, June 29, 2018 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
