SOUTH BEND - Theresa Ann (Stopczynski) Walczewski, 84, was born on November 7, 1929 to Ignagius and Josphine (Witkowski) Stopczynski. On May 6, 1950 she married Casimier J. Walczewski, who preceded her in death along with 3 brothers, Edward, Bernard, and Alex, and a sister, Eleanore. She is survived by one sister, Virginia Dworecki; her children, Mary (James) Fox, Thomas (Wanda) Walczewski, Diane (Ray) Jones, Richard Walczewski, and John (Denise) Walczewski; six grandchildren, James (Jennifer) Fox, Craig Fox, Jordan Walczewski, Ashley (Bobby) Goodman, Michael Jones, and Melissa (Rob) Gorczynski; and 3 great-grandchildren, James, Joseph and Helen. Visitation for Theresa will be held on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 from 4-8 pm in St. Pius X Catholic Church, 52553 Fir Rd., Granger, IN. A vigil service will be held at 7:30 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 10:30 am in the church. Friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorials for Theresa may be directed to the St. Pius X Building fund or to the Missionary Sisters of St. Benedict, 350 Cuba Hill Rd., Huntington, NY 11743.
