SOUTH BEND - Marjorie J. "Marge" Hagedorn, 73, of South Bend, IN, passed away at 3:15 p.m. Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, following an illness. Marge was born on July 21, 1940 to the late Wilbur E. and Dorothy J. "Dotti" (Foster) Niles in New Troy, MI, and has lived in South Bend most of her life. On April 4, 1959, as Marjorie J. Niles, she married Paul E. "Buzzy" Hagedorn, Sr. in South Bend, IN. Marge is survived by her loving husband, Paul E. "Buzzy" Hagedorn, Sr. of South Bend, IN; two daughters, Bonita "Bonnie" (Robert) Wesolowski of South Bend, IN; Paula (fiancĀ©b Keith Bruce) Benninghoff of South Bend, IN; two sons, Paul E. (Tammie) Hagedorn, Jr. of New Carlisle, IN; Rodney G. (Judy) Hagedorn, Sr. of South Bend, IN; nine grandchildren, Brad and Joe Wesolowski; Richie Benninghoff and Heartlyn Klowetter; Taylor and Hunter Hagedorn; Dee, Auston, and Rodney Hagedorn, Jr.; and four brothers, Darrell, Larry, Wendell, and Jay Niles. Marge was an avid bowler, and was a member of the 600 club. She loved to attend all of her grandchildren's various activities, and enjoyed collecting swan ornaments. Marge was a loving wife, mother, and grammy who will be deeply missed. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 p.m. Sunday, February 23, 2014 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, South Bend, IN. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, February 24, 2014 at Kaniewski Funeral Home, with Pastor John Saylor officiating. Burial will follow in Sumption Prairie Cemetery.
