SOUTH BEND - Donald E. Wrobel, 81, of South Bend, passed away on Thursday, October 13th, at his residence.He was born in Terra Haute, IN, on June 4, 1935, to the late Edward and Helen (Kraska) Wrobel. Don is survived by two daughters, Dianna Kujawski of California and Jennifer Campbell of South Bend; his sister, Denise E. Rustman of South Bend; and six grandchildren. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve from 1953 to 1956, the U.S. Navy from 1956 to 1960, the Coast Guard as Security Detail on the Cruise Ships from 1960 to 1966 and the U.S. Army from 1976 to 1986. He was member of the American Legion Post 357, South Bend, and St. Patrick Catholic Church, South Bend. Don walked the Comanche path and was a devout Catholic. He enjoyed making Dream Catchers, doing bead work, reading and collecting coins. Burial with military honors will take place at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 5th, at the Miller's Vet Garden of Peace, South Bend.The HANLEY and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Services handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to Don's family and friends.
