SOUTH BEND - Loretta A. Jozwiak, 87, passed away at 7:40pm on Friday, September 23, 2011 in Michiana Health and Rehabilitation Center. Loretta was born on July 2, 1924 in South Bend to the late Michael and Anna (Wroblewski) Krawczyk. On April 27, 1924 Loretta married Edwin Jozwiak and he passed away on September 4, 1997. Also preceding Loretta in death was son, David in 1947; sisters, Helen Pawlak, Frances Kaminski, Mary Jurgonski, and Verna Dorn; and brothers, Sylvester, Clement, and Lucian Krawczyk. Loretta is survived by her children, Timothy Jozwiak of Elkhart, Sandra (Ronald) Neirynck of Walkerton, Denise (Timothy) Zigler of South Bend, and Mark (Jennifer) Jozwiak of South Bend; grandchildren, Dena Darbe, Jeff Jozwiak, William (Anne) Hatten, Michelle (Donald) Zellers, Brian Jozwiak, Aaron Jozwiak; step-grandchildren, Tera Crone, Ashley Crone, Jeff Crone, and Courtney Crone; six great-grandchildren, two step-great-grandchildren; and a brother Chester Krawczyk of South Bend. Loretta was a parishioner at the Cathedral of St. Matthew. She worked as a housekeeper for St. Joseph Valley American Bank and was a member of the American Legion Post 357 Auxiliary and Harvest House. She liked playing euchre, crossword puzzles and watching game shows. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 8:00pm on Monday, September 26, 2011 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., where a Rosary will be prayed at 6pm. A Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated at 11:30am on Tuesday, September 27, 2011 in the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
