SOUTH BEND - Viola Colpitts, 89, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 in her residence. Viola was born on June 24, 1922 in South Bend to Louis and Katherine (Simon) Nyari. She was employed by the former Ball Band. She married Richard Colpitts who preceded her in death. Vi was also preceded by a son Steven Dezamitz, a sister Kathryn Dezamitz, and three brothers Louis Nyari, Joseph Nyari, and William Nyari. Surviving are a son John (Marguerite) Dezamitz of Mishawaka; two brothers Alex Nyari and Edward (Valery) Nyari both of South Bend; and three sisters-in-law Helen Nyari and Dorothy Nyari both of South Bend and Pat Nyari of Marquette Mi. Viola will be cremated per her wishes. There will be no services or visitation. Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue is handling arrangements.
