South Bend - Timothy Paul Crandall, 53, passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 in Elkhart Hospice House with his family by his side. Timothy was born February 14, 1964 in Shawano, Wisconsin to Howard Crandall Sr. and Virginia (Tuell) Nevins. His father preceded him in death. On July 14, 1990 in Ft. Morgan, Colorado, Tim married Cecilia (Felan) Crandall. She survives along with their children, Lupe Salazar, Lisa (Eric) McBride, Olivia (Mike Winston), Jessica (Andy Balderas) Salazar, Kristen (Sam Gbortsu) Crandall; 11 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; his mother and step father, Virginia & Allen Nevins; brother, H. Sonny (Sheila) Crandall; sister, Kathy (Dave) Holtz; and many aunts, uncles and cousins from the Western States. Timothy honorably served his country in the United States Army Armor from 1981 - 1984. He enlisted in Colorado then went on to Fort Knox, KY, Camp Casey, Korea and discharged from Fort Hood, TX. Tim worked as a truck driver and worked for Grey Wolfe Transportation for the past 6 years. He described them as a “Great Company with the Best Boss” he had ever worked for. Tim was a member of the Happy Husband and Father Club. He loved his wife, children and grandchildren dearly. Family was all he needed to fulfill him and be happy in life. A Celebration of Timothy’s Life will be held 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm, Saturday, October 28, 2017 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S.
