MISHAWAKA - Genevieve Jennie Rutkowski, 72, of Capitol Avenue, died Thursday in Countryside Place Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility. She is survived by her husband, Irvin. Services will be at 11am Monday in St Joseph Catholic Church. Friends may call form 2 to 7pm Sunday in Hahn Funeral Home where a rosary will be said at 4pm.

Obituary

Genevieve Jenny M. Rutkowski, 72, of Capitol Avenue, Mishawaka IN, passed away after an illness at 6:19pm on Thursday, October 2, in Countryside Place.
Mrs. Rutkowski was born on June 25, 1925, in South Bend IN, as the daughter of the late Antoni and Stanislawa Andrezejewski. Jenny was also preceded in death by four sisters and two brothers. On May 11, 1946, in St Monicas Catholic Church, as Genevieve M. Andrezejewski, she married Irvin Rutkowski, who survives. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Rutkowski had been employed by Associates Financial Services of South Bend for 15 years before retiring in 1987. She was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, and the DeAmicis Club Ladies Auxiliary. Friends may call from 1 to 7pm today in the Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street where a rosary will be recited at 4pm. Funeral Mass will be at 11am on Monday in St Joseph Catholic Church, Mishawaka, with Rev. Robert Yast officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery.
