MISHAWAKA - Delores E. Leap, 79, passed away at 4:50 pm Saturday, October 17, 2015, in Golden Living Center. Delores was born on March 10, 1936, in South Bend, to Gabriel and Julianna (Miller) Szoke, Jr. They preceded her in death along with a son, Larry (Cindy) Cross; grandson, Larry Cross, Jr.; two brothers, Albert Szoke and Robert Szoke; and aunt and uncle, Louis and Helen Doczy. Surviving are a daughter, Julianna (James) Corr of Mishawaka; two sons, Garry Leap and John Leap, both of Mishawaka; seven grandchildren, Jamie Cross, Amanda Leap, Alivia Leap, Aubree Leap, Autumn Leap, Eric Nagy, and Kyle Nagy; six great-grandchildren; a sister, Rosemarie (Tom) Mossel of Niles; three brothers, Richard (Barbara) Szoke and Gabriel (Patty) Szoke, both of Arizona, and Ronald (Thelma) Szoke of Berrien Springs; and two sisters-in-law, Audrey Szoke of Arizona and Pam Szoke of Granger. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 am Saturday, October 31, 2015, in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery. Friends may call from 4-6 pm Friday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Cremation has taken place.
