ELKHART - Helen Marie Coryn, 90, of Elkhart, passed away at 8:55 am Wednesday, September 11, 2013, in Eastlake Nursing & Rehabilitation. Helen was born on February 2, 1923, the daughter of the late John and Martha (Kruszynski) Klawinski. On April 22, 1944, she married Cyriel Coryn. He died on July 31, 1976. She is survived by four children, John (Mary) Coryn of Elkhart, Michael (Luarles) Coryn of Granger, Robert (Diane) Coryn of Granger and Debra (John) Lee of Elkahrt. She is also survived by nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cyriel Coryn; son, James Coryn; and two sisters, Nettie Klawinski and Lucy Cuzinski; and a great-granddaughter, Emily Veit.Helen was an avid reader. She also loved to fish and play the piano. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 pm Saturday, Sept. 21, 2013, in Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens, 10776 McKinley Hwy., Osceola.
