widowed mother and sibling. He is employed as a baker
Obituary: South Bend Tribune, 1977, Wednesday, December 21, Page 41. Marion P. Gramza, 67, of
1237 N. Elmer, died at 1:05 a.m. today in St. Joseph's Hospital after an extended illness. He had
been a machinist for Ward's Bakery and the Studebaker Corp. He was born on July 22, 1910, in
South Bend and lived here all his life. On Feb. 19 1939, he married Marjorie Darr, who survives
along with three daughters, Mrs. Diane Schlundt, Miss Barbara Gramza, both of South Bend, and
Mrs. Suzanne Fisher of Fontana, Calif.; two sons, Thomas and David, both of South Bend; six
grandchildren, three sisters, Mrs. Leo Hanyzewski, Mrs. Dewey Mann, both of South Bend, Mrs.
William Sweeney of Dowagiac, and two brothers, Anthony and Clement, both of South Bend.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday with Rev. William Neidhart, pastor of Holy Cross Catholic Church,
officiating. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery.
