NOTRE DAME - Dolores M. Fuchs, 90, of Holy Cross Village, passed away Saturday morning, June 7, 2014, in Hospice House. Dolores was born on May 24, 1924, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, to Matthew T. and Mary M. (Ciesielczyk) Miskinis. On January 13, 1944, she married her loving husband, John, who survives. Also surviving are her children, John Michael (Kathy) Fuchs of New Durham, New Hampshire, Dr. Paul Daniel (Joyce) Fuchs of Laurinburg, North Carolina, and Dr. David Vincent (Mindy) Fuchs of Coldwater, Michigan; nine grandchildren, Linda Fuchs (Dave) Lewis, Matthew (Rachel) Fuchs, Christopher (Leslie) Fuchs, Sarah Fuchs (David) McLean, David Vincent Fuchs, Derek John Fuchs, Lesley (Mark) Kirzeder, Lucas (Jess) Fuchs and Meghan Fuchs (Tim) Phillips; and fifteen great-grandchildren. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 9, 2014, in St. Joseph Chapel, Holy Cross Village, Notre Dame, Indiana. Friends may call from 6 until 8 p.m. TODAY in the Kaniewski Funeral Home, 3545 N. Bendix Drive, and for one hour prior to the Mass in St. Joseph Chapel. Dolores was a 1942 graduate of Langley High school in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She was a devoted wife, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
