SOUTH BEND - Ron passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Valley Medical in Renton, WA from complications of heart disease and diabetes. He retired after 31 years from Honeywell in South Bend. He graduated from St. Mary's High School in Michigan City and completed two years of college at Purdue University. He kept himself very busy in his retirement years with woodworking, golf, bowling, playing cards, and above all else with family. While his daughters were growing up, he was active in the Girl Scouts and was always available no matter what was needed. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Anna Jesko (Hybiak), and his brother James. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Alice (Zink) and daughters Linda Kohn (John) of South Bend, Nancy Jesko (Michael Breza) of Mishawaka, Debi Byrd (David) of Mullins, SC, Joanne Jesko of Moreno Valley, CA, Judith Jesko of Hurricane, UT, and Suzanne Cadden (Tim) of Black Diamond, WA. Also surviving are his brother Daniel (Nancy) of LaPorte, sister-in-law Ann Jesko, also of LaPorte, sister Diane Boesdorfer (Mark) of Dover, FL, and sister Marsha Kindrick (David) of Lawton, OK. He has 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. Services will be at a later date in northern Indiana. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Heart Association Diabetes Association
