Mrs. Lena Leota Bare

Mrs. Lena Leota Bare, 71, of 436 S. Kenmore, died unexpectedly at 4 p.m. Tuesday in her residence. She was born in Milford on Sept. 17, 1907, and lived here since 1936, coming from Wabash, Ind. As Lena Knisley she was married in Wabash on Nov. 3, 1925, to Eugene Bare. He died on Nov 3, 1977. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Albert (Norma) Gadd of Elkhart, Mrs. Edmund (Patricia) Magiera, Mrs. Laverna Lueneburg and Mrs. Stanley (Mary) Gesto, all of South Bend; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, James Knisley of Goshen, and two sisters, Mrs. Raymond Winebrenner of Mishawaka and Mrs. Floyd Grable of Indianapolis. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Bubb Funeral Chapel, Mishawaka. Published in the South Bend Tribune; Wednesday, Dec 27, 1978
