ELKHART -- Margaret Giovanna Adamo, 80, of Elkhart, died at 1:21 a.m. Sunday (Sept. 13, 2009) in Elkhart General Hospital. She was born Nov. 17, 1928, in Elkhart to Dominic and Carmela (Faressa) Adamo. Miss Adamo is survived by three sisters, Connie (Larry) Abel and Mary Baron, both of Elkhart, and Florence (Andrew) Krizman of South Bend. She was preceded in death by three siblings, Ann Bowers, Christina Sikorski and Anthony Adamo. Miss Adamo worked in production at CTS for 42 years, retiring in 1992. She was a 1947 graduate of Elkhart High School and had formerly attended St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. She loved to garden and travel, but her most special times were babysitting and caring for her many nieces and nephews.Friends may call two hours prior to Thursday's 1 p.m. funeral service at Billings Funeral Home, 812 Baldwin St. The Rev. Kevin Bauman of St. Vincent will officiate. A graveside service and burial will follow at St. Vincent Cemetery.
