NORTH LIBERTY - Dolores J. Strantz, 85, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, at Southfield Village in South Bend, after an extended illness. Dolores was born on June 15, 1932 in South Bend to the late Frederick and Veronica (Sabenas) Odusch. On October 8, 1955, in South Bend, Dolores married Matthew P. Strantz, who preceded her in death on March 10, 2010. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Cheryl A. Wrobel. Mrs. Strantz is survived by her son, James M. Strantz of Avon, CT; and her loving grandsons, Matthew and Sean Ciesielski; as well as a brother, Fred (Judy) Odusch of North Liberty. She loved traveling and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids, whom she loved and cherished. Her wishes were to be cremated, and her loving family honored her request. The family requests memorial contributions be made in Dolores' name to the donor's choice. Burial will take place at Sumption Prairie Cemetery at a later date. The HANLEY and Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service handled arrangements and extends its deepest sympathy and heartfelt prayers to the Strantz family.
