Louis (Tomschock) Tomczak, 81, of 510 S. Kaley, died at 8am today in his home apparently following a heart attack. He was retired from the Torrington Co. and a former employee of the LaSalle West Building. He was born December 14, 1900, in Ege IN, and lived in South Bend for 60 years. On November 25, 1925, in South Bend, he married the former Ann Trudzinski, who survives, with a daughter, Mrs. Betty Lou Vascil of South Bend; a son, Edward of South Bend; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a sister, Mrs Mary Tomaszewski of Los Angeles. Services will be at 8:15am Saturday in St Adalbert's Catholic Church, with Rev. Eugene J. Kazmierczak, pastor, officiating. Burial will be in St Joseph Cemetery. Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm Friday in the St Joseph Funeral Home, where the parish rosary will be recited at 7:30pm. He was a member of the Torrington Retirees Club.
