MRS. MARVIN FREEMAN

UNION MILLS -- Mrs. Marvin (Leona) Freeman, 77, died Monday at E Street Division hospital in La Porte following a three month illness. She was born in Union Mills May 26, 1892. In 1925 she was married to Marvin Freeman, who preceded her in death in 1950. She was a member of the Presbyterian church and Eastern Star lodge, both in Union Mills. She is survived by four sons, Marvin Freeman, Union Mills; Richard Freeman, Fort Madison, Ia.; Ronald Cook, La Porte, and Hal Cook, Ardsley, N. Y.; a step-daughter, Mrs. Kathryne Finnagan, Denver; a step-son, Reginald Freeman, Smyirna, Ga.; her mother, Mrs. Selma Garwood, Union Mills; 10 grand-children; and one great-grand-daughter.Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Kosanke Brothers Funeral home, Union Mills. Burial will be in Union Mills cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 3 p.m. Thursday.
