Son of Frank & Maryanna Banasiewicz.
Age 76, died in his home at 1918 W. Calvert after a brief illness. Came from Ujazd, Poland in 1909 and lived here for 73 years. He was retired from South Bend Range Co. Services at St. Adalbert's Catholic Church, burial at St. Joseph Cemetery. On 11-13-1905 mar GertrudeE Jozwiak who survives. Also surviving are one daughter Mrs. Lorraine Cooper of Vandalia, MI., four sons, Robert, Ronald, Donald and David Banasiewicz, all of South Bend; nine grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Genevieve Siglawski and Miss Aurelia Banasiewicz both of South Bend.
