SOUTH BEND - Pauline B. Koszyk, 92, passed away on Friday, March 9, 2018 in Memorial Hospital. Pauline was born December 14, 1925 in Pawtucket, RI to the late Stanley and Mary (Robak) Ptak. On Nov. 27, 1948, Pauline married John J. Koszyk; he preceded her in death on October 7, 2003. Survivors of Pauline include her children, Gary Koszyk of South Bend, Stephen (Anne) Koszyk of Niles, MI, and Nancy (Robert) Leszczynski of Fort Wayne. Pauline dearly loved and was proud of her 5 grandchildren, John Leszczynski, Aaron Koszyk, Jennifer (Leszczynski) Keller and husband Eric, Stephanie Koszyk, and Emily Koszyk. Pauline was a parishioner of Holy Family Catholic Church. Pauline and her late husband John were previously long time parishioners of St. Adalbert Catholic Church. Pauline was an avid reader and loved to learn new things and share that knowledge with others. She also enjoyed cooking and sharing great meals for her family. Visitation for Pauline will be held from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, Tuesday, March 13, 2018 in ST. JOSEPH FUNERAL HOME, 824 S. Mayflower Rd., with a Rosary to be prayed at 4:00 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 am, Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Holy Family Catholic Church, with a one hour visitation prior to the Mass at 9:00 am, in the Msgr. Galic Room. Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, St. Adalbert Church, or for Masses. Condolences for the family may be made at www.sjfh.net.
