Obituary of Mary Ann Swartz Mary Ann Swartz, 90, of Niles, passed away at her residence on Sunday, December 23, 2018. She was born on April 2, 1928 in Niles to the late Wallace and Maybelle (Webber) Beehler. Mary Ann was a graduate of Niles High School and worked for National Standard for many years. On January 15, 1947, she married John E. Swartz. Her hobbies and interest included playing bingo, camping with friends and family, motorcycling, traveling in their motorhome, trips to the casino and crocheting. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; two sons, John and Robert Lee Swartz; a brother, Richard Beehler; two sisters, Alice Bachman-Goff and Donna Unger and a great-granddaughter, Madeline Kujawa. Mary Ann is survived by her daughters; Judy Withers, Patricia (Richard) Kujawa of Niles, Mary Sue (Geary) Williams, all of Niles; a son, Wally (Charlene) Swartz of Cassopolis, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Private graveside services will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens on Thursday, December 27, 2018 Memorial contributions may be made in Mary Ann’s memory to Caring Circle - Hospice at Home, 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085.
