Mary Jo Findley, 84, of Ottawa, passed away on Wednesday, January 5, 2022 at OSF St. Elizabeth Medical Center in Ottawa. Services will be held at a later date in South Bend, IN. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home in Ottawa. Mary Jo was born on April 13, 1937 in South Bend, IN to Frank and Joanna (Winkiewicz) Wantuch. She married Don Findley on August 31, 1957 at St. Adalbert Church in South Bend. Mary was a member at St. Columba Church. She is survived by 7 sons, David (Blythe) Findley of Westchester, IL, Terrance (Chara) Findley of South Bend, IN, Mark (Kim) Findley of Elmira, NY, Charles (Shirley) Findley of Wooster, OH, Daniel (Michelle) Findley of Mesa, AZ, Michael (Christina) Findley of Ottawa, IL, and Francis (Deborah) Findley of Booneville, IN; a daughter Mary Sue (Jim) Horn, of Durham, NC; 19 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and two sisters-in-law Connie Findley and Diana Oxley. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Don; two brothers, Daniel and Frank Wantuch; and their wives, Rose and Carolyn Wantuch Memorials may be directed to St. Columba Building Fund.
