OSCEOLA - John Stephen Vanek, 68, passed away peacefully at Hospice House in Elkhart on August 19, 2016. John was born on February 16, 1948, child of Stanley and Sophie Vanek. The preceded him in death. He is survived by his sister, Victoria (William) Cooper of South Bend; and many loving friends from his Logan Center and Benchmark family. John had a great sense of humor; he loved listening to music and singing karaoke. John will be missed by many.
