Barbara J. Reihl of Mishawaka, passed away at Saint Joseph Regional Medical Center on Saturday, October 16, 2021 at the age of 86. She was born on October 31, 1934 in Mishawaka to the late Luther and Virginia (Manuwal) Lee. Barbara was a lifelong resident of the area and attended Ironwood United Pentecostal Church. On September 25, 1954 in Mishawaka she was united in marriage to Charles Reihl who preceded her in death on November 15, 2006. Barbara devoted her life to her family and spoiling her children. She had a love of cooking, gardening, and making ceramics. She enjoyed spending time in her yard caring for her flowers. She had a quiet demeaner about her and a great sense of humor, even going as far as being quite the prankster. She will forever be famous for her dessert, cherry squares. Barbara is survived by her children, Mark (Sandy) Reihl of Osceola, Maria (Mark) Rosati of Howell, MI., Doug Reihl of Mishawaka, Darin (Jennifer) Reihl of Granger, and Ginni Reihl of Mishawaka, along with her 13 grandchildren, Alex, Nick, Cooper, Jordan, Jasmine, Nathan, Kayla, Adam, Amy, Nicole, Kirstin, Katherine, Charlie, and her 17 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind her sisters, Margo Underly of Mishawaka, Shirley Miller of Osceola, sister-in-law, Betty Jo Reihl of Osceola, along with her very special dog, Ollie. She was preceded in death by her sisters, Rosemary Buzalski and Marilyn Lewis. Services for Barbara will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at Ironwood United Pentecostal Church, 4609 Ironwood Dr, South Bend, IN 46614. Friends may visit with the family at the church beginning at 5:00 p.m. until the time of the services. Graveside services and burial will take place on Thursday, October 21 at 11:00 a.m. at Fairview Cemetery, 1415 N. Main St. Mishawaka.
