GRANGER - Carol A. Stefaniuk, beloved wife and mother of three, passed from this earth into heaven Monday, June 25 surrounded by her loving family. Carol was born February 26, 1949 in Detroit, MI to the late Anna and Joseph Wismont and has lived in Granger, IN since 1994. In Detroit, on August 1, 1970 Carol Wismont married Bohdan Stefaniuk and their wonderful journey began. The greatest joy in her life was her 3 children, Danielle Ruml (Matt) of Osceola, IN, Michael Stefaniuk (Allison) of Granger, IN, and Kristina L. Quinn (Edward) of Alameda, CA; her five grandchildren, Kadence, Avery, Emelyn, Bennett, and Greyson; and her two brothers, Joseph Wismont (Rose) of Westland, MI and Bill Wismont (Judy) of Pinckney, MI. Carol was a beautiful soul whose love poured into the hearts of all around her; she could never be forgotten. Mom showed us how to be selfless and was the strongest person we have ever known. You were the best wife, mother, and friend we could have asked for. Your love will be with us for our lifetime as we continue to live by your example, we love you so much Mama! A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 30 in St. Therese Little Flower Catholic Church. Committal services and burial will follow in St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, Granger, IN. The family will receive friends on Friday, June 29 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. at the Welsheimer Family Funeral Home North, 17033 Cleveland Rd.
